Christmas List Books – Easy and Downright Fantastic!
Christmas List Books to Make
Easy Kids Craft – Christmas List Books
Christmas Lists. They’ve been around forever. Christmas lists of everything we want instead of every way we can make the season bright for someone else. That’s why I came up with this kid craft to make Christmas List Books this year.
When my kids were small, they gifted me with a new Christmas list every other day complete with new toys that replaced their “must haves” from the day before. Oiy! It was exhausting—especially after wading through a mob on Black Friday to get the Barbie Dreamhouse that was now off the list. The Christmas List Books give kids a place to keep a list of what they want (hopefully that doesn’t change daily) and other lists that are important for kids to start thinking about.

It’s Day 4 and we are sharing Kids Christmas Craft Ideas!
These Christmas List Books are a fun craft and an easy way to teach kids about the other lists they should be making at Christmas time.
Such as:
Lists of gift ideas for other people
Lists of crafts and other projects they want to do
Lists of goodies that they would like to help make
Lists of ways they can help and serve in their family
Lists of activities that they’d like to do during the Christmas Season.
My favorite thing about this craft is that it’s easy, even for little ones, it uses leftovers from other decorating projects, and it’s not very messy.
The Christmas kid craft that won't drive you crazy. Make Christmas List Books and teach your kids to serve and care about others this Christmas Click To TweetSupplies List:
- Small spiral notebooks. We used 5”x 3” notebooks that we picked up at the dollar store.
- Christmas theme scrapbook paper
- Miscellaneous stickers and gift tags
- Mini bows
- Paper clips
- At least one Christmas pick with glittery Styrofoam balls
- Kid friendly glue
Instructions:
- Cut the Christmas scrapbook paper to fit the outside cover of the notebook.
- Cut strips of paper out of coordinating scrapbook paper to use for the “ribbon.”
- Have the kids glue the scrapbook paper to the cover, followed by the strips of paper crossing them in the middle to resemble a box wrapped with ribbon.
- Let them embellish the books with Christmas stickers and tags.
- Make a clip-on bookmark by cutting the sparkly Styrofoam balls off a Christmas pick and gently pressing one into the top of a paper clip. You can secure with glue if desired.
That’s it! The Christmas List Books were so easy and fun to make that they all wanted to make several different ones.
