Halographic Bats and Moons Halloween Tree
Halloween Tree Cricut Project
Halographic Bats and Moons Halloween Tree
This easy and festive Halloween Tree uses one of the Cricut specialty cutting materials that doesn’t get enough love–the Halographic Party Foil.
If you’ve ever purchased a Cricut Mystery Box, chances are you’ve received some of Cricut’s specialty materials. In this series, I’m teaching crafts that use these fun specialty materials so that you can expand beyond vinyl and iron-on. The Cricut Explore Air machine is so much more versatile!
This project to make a Halloween Tree is easy and impressive–my favorite kind of project!

PROJECT INSTRUCTIONS
1. Access the Cricut Design Space project here.
2. Click the “Make It” button.
3. At the top left “Project Copies” press plus button until you have 9 copies and click apply.
4. Use a STONG GRIP mat. The party foil is slippery and thick. Make sure you’ve securely attached the party foil to the mat for a clean cut.
5. Place branches in a vase.
6. Although the bats are scored using the scoring tool and the Cricut Explore machine, you’ll still need to fold each bat in half and crease it. Then hot glue the bats onto the branches so they look like they’re perched on the edge of the branches.
7. Tie thread (I used gold) to each of the moons and then tie the moons to the top of the branches.
