Magnolia Wreath Canvas
This Magnolia Wreath Canvas was a project I designed to test my new Cricut Press 2 during one of my LIVE Chat & Craft videos on our Crafting Is My Therapy Facebook Group. If you’re new here, let’s get to know each other. This is a community of women who love to craft as a form of self-care so that we’re just plain better in all aspects of our life. Check out our home page to see how you can join our free community!
Using iron-on htv on Canvas is a true dream. It adheres well, won’t peel or bubble like vinyl can and makes creating your own artwork a cinch. This isn’t a traditional Christmas Wreath, but it’s one of my favorite. Best of all, I set up the entire Magnolia Wreath Canvas project is a click then cut project.
All you have to do is click here to get the project on your Cricut Design Space Canvas, then you can click “Make it Now.” In less than an hour, you’ll have a beautiful Magnolia Wreath Canvas for your home.
For this project, I used the following supplies but feel free to mix up colors to make it your own.
- Cricut Everyday Iron-On “Grasslands Sampler”
- Cricut Foil Iron-On “Lemongrass”
- 15″ x 20″ Canvas
- 3 -8 1/2″ x 11″ pieces of cream colored card stock
- 1 – 8 1/2″ x 11″ piece of gray colored card stock
How to make your Magnolia Wreath Canvas
- Cut the Wreath Image, Small Circles and PEACE word out of Iron-on HTV
- Cut the Magnolia Flower Images and Leaf Images out of cardstock.
- Iron the Wreath, Circles and PEACE images onto the canvas as shown in the photo.
- Roll the flower petals down using a pencil, then roll the flowers into flower shape.
- Hot glue 3D paper magnolia flowers and leaves to edge of canvas.
